Tanuj Shekhar
Management Trainee Personal Care Products - Supply Chain National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai‘At VVF, not only do I get the opportunity to work on different projects that have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company, but I also get to interact with various top management executives, who are always ready to hear, appreciate and implement new ideas. Apart from work, life at VVF is always exciting with little fun things happening around you. With strong camaraderie among all the employees you always find yourself at home.’
Madhavan Dakshinamurthy
Management Trainee, Oleo - Marketing Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi‘Three things come to my mind on what makes VVF the ideal company for me: excellent work-life balance, the opportunity to contribute significantly to the business right from the start, and the employee engagement system
9 hours of dedicated time at work leaves me with plenty of time to engage in other interests each day. From my first day here I was involved in significant decisions and processes that contributed directly to business growth. And finally, monthly engagement activities are always varied and interesting. They bring in a ‘feel-good’ factor to the work place. Engagement also includes training and learning programs that constantly add value to my growth here.’
Supratik Mahapatra
Management Trainee, Human Resources Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai‘At VVF, we have a working atmosphere that is always open and experiential. This open environment helps us exchange ideas across the organization. One does not feel the need of a forum to express his opinions.
I see VVF as a place where leaders are built and one will witness this while interacting with many senior managers who started their careers with VVF. Here, new ideas are not only welcomed but also are expected from young managers. Personally, I am offered comprehensive projects across various diverse HR verticals, helping me hone my skills and develop as a true professional.
Here I have experienced my mistakes being converted into lessons, pressure into productivity and skills into strengths. The management really knows how to bring out the best in every employee. Ever since I have been working for VVF, I have found myself evolving both on professional and personal front. VVF does not offer you a job, it offers you a career. I am really lucky to experience such a beautiful professional life.’
Harpreet Singh
Graduate Engineering Trainee, Utility Department National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Nagpur‘Extensive on the job training is the first thing which comes to my mind when I think about my VVF experience. As an engineer in the Utility function at the Taloja plant, I was exposed to various other facilities of the plant and a unique opportunity to interact with and learn from vendors. My technical knowledge has definitely improved since I’ve started working here. Guidance from my manager and the head of my department have been crucial in my development’
Lakhan Singh Meena
Engineering Management Trainee Chemical Department Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay‘As a chemical engineer from IIT Bombay, I always wanted to work on projects which required me to think and apply the concepts I had learnt over the past four years; and the kind of projects I’m assigned here at VVF are better than what my friends get to work on elsewhere. It feels good to be involved on critical projects of the company, where I get to learn a lot from my seniors while putting to test my own skills and knowledge. I also get to interact with people of all age groups here, who help me with matters related to work and beyond. ‘
Ashish Pareek
Engineering Management Trainee Chemical Department Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay‘I believe that VVF provides a good working atmosphere. Personally, I get the opportunity to work on ongoing projects during my training period. People here are co-operative and helpful and there is no excessive pressure, so I have the freedom of learning at my own pace. As a fresher, I see a lot of opportunities for learning, as a wide variety of processes and technologies are a part of operations - distillation, hydrolysis, reaction engineering, hydrogen production and the power plant, to name a few. There are training programs for individual development apart from technical training, which goes a long way towards my overall development. The company trusts its employees and I get to access required data at ease. There is a great deal of interaction from bottom to top here, which helps me gain better perspective.’
Gopal Zawar
Graduate Engineering Trainee, Chemical Department Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai‘I have been at VVF Taloja for 6 months and it has been a great experience. I am able to apply my theoretical knowledge onto practical aspects at the plant on a daily basis. This helps me learn many new things here; things which I thought were so different back in college. I really love the work atmosphere, it is very friendly, and I would like to thank the management for giving me this opportunity to develop and deliver.’

Veda Kisara
Management Trainee, Human Resources Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai‘I believe that the quality of projects and opportunities provided to me are arguably better and more extensive than what my MBA colleagues are provided at their workplaces. The reason behind this is the structured M-Power training program which is designed to develop trainees to increase their capabilities and perform to their full potential. A unique feature of the program is the feedback and coaching mechanism provided to trainees; with highly qualified members taking up roles such as project owner, process owner and mentor for every live project. At a time, I get to work on multiple projects and autonomy is granted at an early stage.
I feel my superiors want me to excel, my work-life balance is respected and the fun at work never stops.’
