VVF has been a proud member of RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) since 2008.
VVF’s Oleochemicals facility is an RSPO certified production unit. Our RSPO certification is an assurance to our customers that the production of fatty acids, fatty alcohols and glycerine are under the RSPO Mass Balance model. For more information, check our progress at www.rspo.org
EcoVadis
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted and credible providers of business sustainability assessments and ratings, collaborating with over 55,000 businesses globally to assess and improve sustainability performance.
By combiningglobal expertise along with advanced technology and methodology, EcoVadis provides reliable CSR performance ratings and scorecards that cover 21 CSR indicators across supply chains, under the 4 categories of Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Through this certification, VVF aims to provide our customers, investors and other stakeholders with complete assurance and utmost transparency concerning our products and operations across the supply chain.
We are proud to report that in in FY 2019-20, after successfully completing our CSR survey on EcoVadis, VVF (Taloja) achieved a score among the top 30% of companies evaluated, thus earning us the EcoVadis Silver Medal for sustainability. In our endeavour to consistently adhere to the most current global sustainability standards, we believe in a continuous improvement model. We put our practices through the test by regularly auditing our sustainability measures by experts, thereby continuously setting higher standards to achieve.
Children for Change: A CSR Initiative
Children for Change is a VVF campaign that is aimed at positively impacting the lives of children across the India by spreading awareness on basic health and hygiene practices. Our vision is to contribute to building a better future for our nation by shaping the minds of future generations through awareness and education.
We have teamed up with some of the leading NGOs in India to visit schools and communities across the country and conduct awareness programs.
